Adele has announced that she will return to mainland Europe for the first time since 2016 with four exclusive shows in Munich, Germany this summer.
Adele has confirmed that she will be performing in Europe later this year, after teasing big news on Instagram. On Wednesday (Jan. 31), Adele announced that she will return to mainland Europe for the first time since 2016 with four exclusive shows in Munich, Germany.
The 35-year-old singer, who has won 16 Grammys, will perform in a custom-built pop-up stadium this summer.
The British superstar will perform in a bespoke open-air arena at Munich Messe. The shows are scheduled for August 2, 3, 9, and 10. Adele highlighted her contentment with previous shows in London’s Hyde Park and her residency in Vegas and expressed enthusiasm for the idea of a pop-up stadium in the middle of Europe, calling it fabulous.
Adele shared the news on Instagram, expressing her curiosity and excitement about the unique opportunity of a summer run of shows in Munich.
She said “I got an offer to do some shows in a special stadium in Munich. I was happy with my shows in London and Vegas, but I wanted to try this. It’s in Europe, where I haven’t played since 2016. It’s also near the Euros and the Olympics. Some of my favourite artists are there too. It’s a great way to end this part of my life and career. Hello babes x”
